What type of sausage should I give puppy for training?

I have a 5 month Shih Tzu who has been eating Royal Canin Mini Junior. I'm going to a training school with her, and the trainer told me to bits of sausage to give my puppy as a high value treat. I'm not sure if that will upset her stomach or not. If I were to give a small amount of sausage for training session only, what is the best options?
