Can you Play downloaded wii games off of a hard drive?

I have a really old computer, and the hard drive still works, but i'm not sure if it's possible to download wii games on to the hard drive and hook the hard drive up to the wii... If it is possible, then please tell me how to do that.. I already have homebrew.
