Allergic reaction against Royal Canin puppy food?

My six month old german shepherd puppy has always itched a lot, but recently she seems to be loosing her fur in the areas where she is itching, could it be her food? what food would you recommend changing to? the vet didn't seem that botherd about it , I am asking your opinion before I make another vets appointment at another surgery.
