How to get homebrew channel on wii?

Hey i wanna get the homebrew channel on my wii bit i only have a 16 gb sd card... i was told that you can only use a 2 gb sd card at most if you are going to get it using super smash bros so it bummed me out... but then i learned there are other ways so can someone help me to "jailbreak" my wii... dont post any guides that would force me to buy anything because i am completely broke...Thanx ^_^
